§ 04 · About the firm

A serious firm, built for the AI era.

The architecture of a 2026 AI-native practice, sitting inside the operating discipline of a 16-year managed-services group. We are not a startup. We are not a consultancy. We sit between those archetypes — and we behave like neither.

Why ATS Meridian, now.

Enterprise AI is a delivery problem, not a model problem. The interesting question, in 2026, is not whether a language model can do the task — it usually can — but whether an organisation can ship, evaluate, govern, and operate the system that puts the model into a workflow.

Most firms answering that question are organised against it. Consultancies advise but do not ship. System integrators ship at the speed of the previous decade. AI labs build remarkable systems for problems that look nothing like an enterprise environment. Body-shop firms send engineers but not opinions. And model labs are model labs — research organisations, not delivery organisations.

ATS Meridian sits between those archetypes. The architectural posture of a 2026 AI-native firm — agent systems, evaluation harnesses, retrieval architectures — paired with the operating discipline of a managed-services group that has been delivering enterprise programs for sixteen years. A senior team on every engagement. A single contract from strategy through operation. The same engineers who build the system run it.

It is, in shorthand, what a Tier-1 systems integrator would look like if it were founded today — with the architecture and the people that would imply.

§ 04.02 · ATS Group

The big firm's most modern arm.

Aerial Telecom Solutions — the ATS Group — is an India-headquartered managed-services and digital-transformation firm. Sixteen years of operating history. Ten thousand-plus people. Two continents.

ATS Meridian was incorporated to give the group's enterprise clients access to a focused, AI-native practice — staffed and architected for the era, but operating inside the discipline of the parent.

  1. 2010

    Aerial Telecom founded

ATS Group is founded in India as a managed-services firm to the telecom industry. The discipline that would later govern ATS Meridian's delivery posture is set in this period.

  2. 2018

    First enterprise platforms work

Group expands beyond telecom into industrial managed services. A first generation of platforms team is formed — engineering as a service, with senior partners on every program.

  3. 2022

    Group reaches scale

Group revenue passes $200m. Headcount crosses 7,000. A small advanced-research practice is incubated to absorb the first wave of generative AI work.

  4. 2025

    ATS Meridian incorporated

ATS Meridian, Inc. is incorporated in Delaware. The US-based AI-native services arm of the ATS Group. Two-office posture: New York and Delhi.

§ 04.04 · Operating principles

Six rules. The contract underneath the contract.

P · 01

Deliver, then advise.

Most firms reverse this. We win the right to advise by shipping the system. The order is load-bearing.

P · 02

Evaluation before production.

Every system has a defined evaluation harness before it has a production environment. The eval is the contract.

P · 03

The senior is on the team.

The partner who runs the diagnostic stays on the program through operate. We do not staff with analysts at scale.

P · 04

Same engineers, build to operate.

The team that ships the system runs it. Maintainability is not a virtue — it is a self-interest.

P · 05

Plain language, defined cadence.

Telemetry reaches the executive sponsor in plain language on a written cadence. We do not manage perception.

P · 06

No stranded work.

We do not accept engagements that hand the system over and walk away. The contract carries operate-and-evolve.
